How Parents Can Support Children with Dyslexia
As announced during Budget Debate 2014, the School-based Dyslexia Remediation (SDR) programme will be expanded to cover 20 more primary schools, bringing the total to 62 schools. Enhanced support for students to access opportunities in Institutes of Higher Learning
The Government will increase bursaries and raise income eligibility threshold for students in our institutes of higher learning. There will also be enhanced support for students with special educational needs in the IHLs.
Stronger partnerships to support access to opportunities in school
MOE will be strengthening our partnership with parents and the community via the school-based student care centres, the school-based dyslexia remediation programme and collaborations with Parent Support Groups (PSGs).
